 Raise awareness for the unjust tax on feminine care products by forming a coalition of eight competing brands in the menstrual hygiene space

On behalf of period care brand August, and its co-founder, Nadya Okamoto, SolComms helped bring together eight brands to form The Tampon Tax Back Coalition - an initiative to abolish the unfair tax on feminine care products. 

The agency managed to secure a live exclusive segment on The TODAY Show to break the news, which was quickly followed by features across top-tier business and lifestyle media including Fast Company, Business of Fashion, CNBC, CNN Business, Inc., Well + Good, Beauty Independent, and more. The campaign quickly went viral, positioning August is a true leader and protector of women’s health.
